The project consortium consists of five research groups, two groups from Austria and three from France. The group at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) acts as the Austrian consortium leader, while the group at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS), expert in image processing and analysis, acts as Austrian national research partner of SUAS. From France, the group at INRA Nancy-Lorraine (INRA) acts as the French consortium leader, specialised in forest and wood sciences, while the group at Université de Lorraine (UL) is expert in digital geometry and Arts et Métiers ParisTech (AMPT) works on wood quality grading by non-destructive methods and wood machining. A medical CT-Scanner dedicated to the analysis of wood is available at INRA as well as a terrestrial LiDAR. These equipments belong to the XyloSciences technical platform located at INRA Nancy-Lorraine.  Image: People image created by Jcomp -
